Dear Caregiver,

As we work to enable every caregiver to thrive, ChristianaCare’s voluntary Wellness Incentive Credit provides an opportunity each year for caregivers to reduce their out-of-pocket benefit costs while taking steps that support their health.

The Wellness Incentive Program runs from Jan. 11 to March 31, 2024. Caregivers who complete the Wellness Incentive requirements during the program will receive a Wellness Incentive Credit, effective July 1, 2024, which will reduce the cost of their medical benefits.

What’s new this year.

  • The Wellness Incentive Credit will be administered through Highmark this year (replacing ShareCare).
  • The visit to a primary care provider qualifies if it occurred anytime from January 2022 to March 2024. Your PCP visit will be verified by our medical carrier, Highmark.

Please note: We strongly encourage you to act now to schedule a PCP visit in 2024. A PCP visit between Jan 1, 2023, through March 31, 2025, will be required for the Wellness Incentive Credit for medical premiums starting July 1, 2025.

Once you complete the requirements, look in your Highmark account for confirmation that you have completed the program.
